Porter Scott wins Motion for Summary Judgment

Lindsay Goulding and Tomi Aina obtained summary judgment on behalf of three defendant retailers on a premises liability case. A customer was shopping in one of the defendant’s retail stores, when he slipped and fell on eggs that were dropped on the floor by a third party four minutes prior. The judge found two of the defendants did not own or control the subject property. Further, four minutes was not enough to place the third defendant retailer on notice of the allegedly dangerous condition. The case was dismissed.
