David Boyd Joins Porter Scott in Of Counsel Role
Porter Scott is pleased to announce that David Boyd, formerly of Boyd, Kimball & Wilson, has joined the firm in an Of Counsel role.
David brings a wide breadth of experience with him based on his litigation practice focusing on the defense of attorneys, accountants, engineers, architects, construction, insurance, and real estate professionals. He is certified as a specialist in legal malpractice law by the State Bar of California and the Board of Legal Specialization. As with several Porter Scott shareholders, David is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He holds an AV rating with Martindale-Hubbell, and is an active leader in our community through his involvement with state and local bar activities and many affiliated organizations.
David graduated from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law with honors, where he was the Associate Editor of the Pacific Law Review and a member of the Traynor Honor Society. Prior to attending law school, David was a Naval Aviator with the United States Navy on active and reserve duty from 1968 through 1992.
