Chris M. Egan
ShareholderRaised in Sacramento, Chris worked his way through high school and college at numerous local businesses before becoming a lawyer. Chris now dedicates himself to representing local businesses large and small. Chris helps his clients achieve their goals though thoughtful analysis, determination, and courtesy to adversaries.
Chris grew up in Sacramento, and he became a shareholder at Porter Scott in 2011. Chris’s practice covers a wide variety of areas including directors and officers liability, catastrophic personal injury cases, construction defect cases, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, industrial injuries, liquor liability, premises liability, and wrongful death. He has represented business clients in complex cases involving wrongful termination, discrimination, defamation, breach of contract, and unfair business practices. Chris has also litigated disputes involving representation of insurance brokers, real estate brokers, and architects. His medical malpractice experience includes representation of hospitals, physicians, and nurses. Chris has litigated cases from Tulare County to Siskiyou County and everything in between.
