Jonathan A. Corr
ShareholderAs the son of a physician and repeated beneficiary of medical care (his physicians have recommended he give up skiing, to no avail), Jon enjoys his role representing health care providers to assist those who have dedicated their careers to providing help to others.
Jon grew up in Sacramento and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992. He then attended law school at the University of San Diego, obtaining his Juris Doctorate in 1997. After working briefly for the District Attorney’s office in San Diego, Jon joined Porter Scott in 1998. He became a shareholder in January of 2005.
Jon’s litigation practice includes representing physicians, nurses, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and residential care facilities in medical malpractice and elder abuse cases. He has represented clients in a variety of forums, including the state Superior Courts and the state Courts of Appeal.
